Families and Dorking Area Food Bank got the holidays off to a cracking start at the Easter Pop Up last Friday (April 5th).
Volunteers welcomed 18 families at the Children’s Centre, Goodwyns and provided food for 23 adults and 36 children.
Drivers, warehouse, staff and packers pulled together to ensure it was a success.
Volunteer co-ordinator Ali Studley said:” Not our busiest pop up to date, but it’s worth it for even one family and I know that the food was much appreciated.”
